Parth Samthaan: Music travels to places where even shows and films haven’t travelled

The teaser of ‘Mere Haniyaa' featuring popular TV star Parth Samthaan and Anchal Singh has been receiving a lot of love from fans who can't wait to see the music video. Releasing on December 6, the video has Anchal playing Pooja, and Parth as Sooraj. The duo speaks to mid-day.com about what fans can look forward to in the video presented by Shrikant Tuli's SVMT music.

Anchal: The response has been amazing. When I heard the song, it was beautiful, there are various shades that will come across in the video too. People appreciating the trailer, feel the same emotions. I'm happy to collaborate with Parth, I've been getting tagged by his fans and fan clubs over social media. It's been a beautiful experience.

Parth: It's always good to come up with new songs, the song is so catchy and Arko sang it so beautifully, I said yes without thinking twice. Although travelling was a task we travelled to Orchha which is quite far, but overall it was worth it. Looking forward to people liking the song, it's not just sad but more in the happy zone where you actually feel for someone.

With fans tracking your every move, is it pressurizing to constantly live up to expectations?
Parth: That's our profession, we have to make sure we entertain every day and keep it going. Every day we have to come back with something better. We have to give our hundred percent each time.

Any behind the scenes moments that come to mind?
Anchal: Just like Parth, I too agreed to be part of the song in the first five seconds of hearing it. I had actually committed my dates to another shoot but I requested the production team of that project and made this one happen because I knew this would come out as a beautiful song.

Parth: We shot at a beautiful palace like location. It took me back to ancient history, I'm very curious about history and heritage properties. Apart from that there were people who came from Gwalior and Jhansi just to see the shoot and meet us, it was overwhelming.

Parth, fans had been missing you after Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2. Do you enjoy music videos as much as daily soaps?
With music videos you come in for two-three days, have fun. Do your romantic or sad part and you enjoy! You get to play different characters and you get to see the final product soon. Music travels places where even shows and films haven't travelled. So it's always good to be part of any song.
