Kaun Banega Crorepati is one of the most loved quiz shows on Indian television. The 15th season of Amitabh Bachchan hosted show has finally found its first crorepati. Jaskaran from Punjab is the first competitor to earn one crore and take on the last question for seven crore.
On Thursday, Sony Entertainment Television's official Instagram account posted a new promo with the caption, "Paar kar har mushkil Punjab ke chhote se gaon Khalra se aaye Jaskaran pahunch chuke hain iss khel ke sabse bade â¹7 crore ke sawaal par! Dekhiye #KaunBanegaCrorepati, 4th and 5th Sept, Somvaar-Mangalvaar raat 9 baje, sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par."

The promo begins with host Amitabh Bachchan announcing that the contestant has won 1 crore rupees. We next see a flashback to the contestant's life and his hometown. The promo then concludes with Amitabh asking Jaskaran the last 7 crore question.
As soon as the promo was dropped, netizens reacted to it in the comment section. A user wrote, "All The Best But It's Great he is reaching his heights". Kavita Chawla, former winner congratulated Jaskaran and wrote, "Congratulations from the former winner." A user commented, "After winning such big amount also keep focus on civil services." while other congratulated him. Jaskaran has also commented on the new promo on Instagram. He wrote, "Thankk you @sonytvofficial (black heart emoji) (namaste emoji)."
He also reposted another promo by Sony Entertainment Television, in which Amitabh recalls that he has seen several contestants become crorepatis on the show since its inception in 2000. However, he adds that no one has yet passed the 16th question, the 7 crore question.
The episodes in which Jaskaran wins the 1 crore question and attempts the 7 crore question will air on Sony Entertainment Television on September 4 and 5 at 9 p.m.
The popular British quiz programme âWho Wants to Be a Millionaire' has been adapted into Hindi as KBC. With the exception of the third season, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh has hosted the show since its inception in 2000.
