Hi Madhurima! What are your Diwali plans?
I'm going to be celebrating with my family and we're all going to visit my brother's place and get together there with my mom dad and everyone. We'll all have fun bursting crackers but not many because I have a pet and I know they get scared due to the noise.
Do you believe in gifting or getting gifts during Diwali?
I believe gifts are a gesture of warmth and love and I love gifting and also feel special when someone gets them for me.

Do you burst firecrackers during the festival or you believe in sound and smoke pollution free Diwali?
I don't really believe in bursting a lot of crackers and would prefer a sound and smoke free Diwali. As I said, pets get scared and also there's already too much pollution in the air we don't need to add to it.
What does Diwali mean to you?
Diwali is really special to me and it's one of my favourite festivals. I love the togetherness and warmth that we share with each other. The concept of positive winning over the negative really brings the meaning of Diwali.
What new / exciting stuff have you planned for Diwali this year?
I haven't really planned anything different this year but I'm excited to celebrate it at my brother's house so that's going to be really special for us as it's the first time we're going to be celebrating it at his place.
Your message to our readers for Diwali?
I would like to say that Diwali is very special and it's about togetherness so celebrate it with family. Try and burst less crackers as it really does a lot of harm to the stray animals and also creates too much pollution.
