Actress Ankita Lokhande, who made it till the Top 5 but did not take the trophy home, spoke about her journey in the show and also thanked Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. When Ankita's name was called for elimination in the 'Bigg Boss 17' finale, she became a bit emotional, and her family members also seemed surprised and disappointed, with her sister-in-law appearing teary-eyed.
A day after the finale, Ankita, who was the second person to be evicted in the grand finale, took to Instagram, where she shared a string of videos and pictures from the grand finale stage.
She wrote: "A journey to be remembered & cherished forever! Thank you @beingsalmankhan for your kind words. Thank you @officialjiocinema @colorstv @endemolshineind for giving me this opportunity."
After the grand finale, faced a mob of fans and media in distress after her eviction. Ankita gracefully left the show, expressing no regrets and emphasisng the importance of family.
Bigg Boss host Salman Khan expressed shock at Ankita's elimination, mentioning that he had expected her to win the 17th season. Salman mentioned, "I am shocked. I thought that you would win the show but don't know what happened. The whole team is shocked....Ankita, your journey has been the toughest journey in (history of) Bigg Boss."
The Bigg Boss 17 finale was a fun ride, and finally, Munawar Faruqui lifted the trophy, becoming the ultimate winner of the reality show. Munawar and Abhishek Kumar were the last two contestants who finally switched off the lights of the show together.
The Bigg Boss 17 finale has now happened, and making it to the top 5 were the likes of Ankita Lokhande, Munawar Faruqui, Mannara Chopra, Arun Mashetty, and Abhishek Kumar. The season has been rather fun and got everyone talking about all the happenings in the house, including every single person in the top 5 of the show.
Abhishek Kumar and Munawar Faruqui made it till the top two. However, it was Munawar, who took home the trophy along with Rs 50 Lakhs and a car.
