This season was a rather unexpected one. One of the reasons being viewers' brush with nostalgia.
A lot of the former contestants of the show came inside the house again. Fans were in for a surprise when they saw some former contestants coming back to the house known for messiness and mayhem. Rakhi Sawant (still in great form), Kashmera Shah, Rahul Mahajan, Vikas Gupta, and Arshi Khan, all made a solid return.
Given they had been inside the house and experienced all the fights and foes, their participation one more time was surely going to leave fans and viewers excited. The last season of the show was historic, but this year, it was purely for the love of nostalgia.
And beyond the nostalgic feeling, we also saw some fun and frolic from the host himself. Salman Khan's unprecedented following and his unpredictable avatar continued this year as well. There were instances when he was angry with the contestants for their behaviour and rudeness, but he didn't forget to have a blast either.
On the finale episode, he shook a leg with Nora Fatehi on the song, Garmi, from Street Dancer 3D. Replicating the track's most popular step, the actor was at his entertaining best. Colors TV even shared a glimpse of the same. Have a look at the video right here:
That's not all, legendary actor Dharmendra also made a surprising appearance and recreated a scene from his blockbuster film Sholay with Khan. Khan was fantastic as he imitated Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan) and we didn't know he was such a great mimic. Have a look:
As mentioned above, due to the pandemic, we couldn't see too many movie promotions on the show this year, but Season 15 should bring back Bollywood on the stage with Khan. And given his association with Bigg Boss for more than a decade, it seems he shall be the only actor to return to the sets every year, for fans of the show and the star that he is.
And now that Rubina has won the coveted prize, it would be intriguing to see what the future holds for her next. On to Bigg Boss 15!
