Lohri, the cheerful festival of Punjabi's is also known as the Harvest festival which brings good luck, happiness and prosperity in lives of all. People of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and other states of North India celebrate Lohri festival with great grandeur. On the celebration day of Lohri, people gather around bonfire and throw sweets, popcorns and puffed rice in the flame. Also people move around the fire and sing Lohri songs.
