Shivani Jha: Want to act in a movie which is complicated; like Highway

Shivani Jha

Shivani Jha is an Indian television actress who made her acting debut in the Colors TV reality show "Mujhse Shaadi Karoge" in 2020. She participated in the reality show "Mujhse Shaadi Karoge" as a wild card entry. She is an Actor, Dancer and a Content Creator. We had a fun chat with her on her career and aspirations and here's what the young actress has to say.

MD: At what age did you decide you want to be an Actor?

Shivani: I remember when I was in my 9th grade I did my first ever job as a Mehendi artist. I entered the client's house, took my notebook out and started entering the names of people present there. Yes, I was a Mehendi artist when I was 15. As a child I've grown up watching Bollywood movies. I've always wanted to be a star; the dream girl of the Bollywood. I grew up working as a teacher, dancer, performer, etc.. I loved doing every job that I have ever done in life. It's always been a new experience. But the moment I stepped in front of the camera that's when I knew!! This is it!

MD: Who is your Inspiration?

Shivani: My biggest inspiration is the mirror. It shows me things others can't! It's real. My reflection keeps me going.

MD: What is your long term goal?

Shivani: I wanna be able to buy a house and live a happy life. And keep working until the end of eternity. And yes, I wanna be humble and as grounded as I can be.

MD: If you had to choose, which one would you choose between being an Actor, Dancer, or Influencer? and why?

Shivani: I would choose to be an Artist. I've never settled for 1 profession. I wanna be a package. A whole deal!

MD: If given a chance in Bollywood, what niche would you choose to be starred in?

Shivani: This question gives me chills! I'm so eager to be working on a film which demands my blood and sweat! I wanna be raw. I remember telling people earlier, Mujhe Heroine jaisi grand entry chahiye, want a love song, etc. but now, I wanna act in a movie which is complicated. For example, Highway, Parched.
