Salman Khan and Sonia Gazmer
The last episode of Sony Entertainment Television's popular singing reality show, Indian Idol 10 entertained the audience with some amazing performances. It was also the first elimination episode where one contestant who gets a lesser score and audience votes will leave the journey midway. The 17-year-old Sonia Gazmer from Khadakpur, Kolkata who has been an amazing performer, was the first contestant to park her dreams for the future. Though, Sonia's lifelong wish was fulfilled before she leaving Mumbai.
Sonia is a die-hard fan of Salman Khan and she got a chance to interact with the star himself. Sonia was flabbergasted with the superstar's aura when she met him on the sets of Dus Ka Dum. Not only she clicked a picture with him but also Salman gave her some life learning lessons.
The joyful Sonia exclaimed, "It was one of those days when I had to park my dreams for the future, because of the audience votes and score. But when the channel told me that they will fulfill my wish to meet Salman, I was much excited. I was completely in awe with Salman's presence. After I clicked a picture with him, he also initiated the conversation. I loved the way he told me that I need to rehearse and practice more and such failures are only stepping stones to success. For me, this will be the beginning of a new journey. I heartily thank Sony Channel and Indian Idol 10 for giving me such an opportunity."
Sonia is apparently a playback singer and a live stage performer. We wish her all the best for her future.
