Kapil Sharma will make a comeback on the small screen with a new show sans Sunil Grover.
There's good news for all the Kapil Sharma fans out there! The comedy king is all set to make a comeback on the small screen with a new show. According to a timesofindia.com Kapil will return to the small screen this March and has reportedly shot for the teaser on Monday. A source confirmed to the online portal that Kapil will be back on the same channel. He will be shooting for the teaser where the actor will make an announcement of the same. The show is expected to go on air in the month of March. However, the format and title of the show are yet to be finalised. Rumours have it that it will be a gaming show.
The report also adds that Sunil Grover won't be joining him on the show. The former had quit the show after they had an infamous spat. After this spat, many of the fellow colleagues of Kapil quit the show, which got the show's TRP drastically drooping down. What followed later was Kapil's health issues due to which the channel, on which 'The Kapil Sharma Show' was aired, decided on giving Kapil a few months break to recover completely.
An official spokesperson from the channel had said then that since Kapil had been under the weather, they had "mutually agreed to take a short break", and that they would start shooting again once he recovers completely.
