Noticed anything different about 'Kkusum' actress Nausheen Ali Sardar's face? There has been buzz about a surgery gone wrong! She reveals what compelled her to go under the knife
Nausheen Ali Sardar
It has been over a decade since Nausheen Ali Sardar first entered our drawing rooms, courtesy Ekta Kapoor's hugely popular show, 'Kkusum'. Last seen in 'Adventures of Hatim' two years ago, the actress has now returned to the tube with a cameo in 'Gangaa'. Over the years, she has undergone a physical transformation, but there has been buzz about the actress going under the knife. Nausheen claims that she indeed underwent a surgery, but there was nothing cosmetic about it.
She says, "I have not denied opting for a surgery procedure for my face, but there's nothing cosmetic about it. I met with an accident in 2003. I sustained fractures in my skull and collar bone while the nasal septum had deviated, leading to breathing problems. When you all saw me [in Kkusum], I was young. Now I'm a woman, so, my look has changed with time. It happens with everyone, but I wonder why people think actors are not human. I used to be a tomboy earlier, now I behave like a lady. Only my weight has been fluctuating and that's about it."
Nausheen plays a mentor to the lead character on the show, but as per the latest revelation, she also shares a past with Hiten Tejwani's on-screen character. "Recently, a report claimed that I have a hot and steamy scene with Hiten, but people don't even bother checking with me for facts. We are reuniting on reel after 12 years, and only share a few cute, romantic scenes. There is no nudity or obscenity the way people are making it out to be. It's a Rajesh Khanna and Sharmila Tagore kinda love story," she explains.
Nausheen, after working with Ekta Kapoor in Kkusum, was reportedly never considered for any other role by the producer. While there was speculation that the two didn't see eye to eye, Nausheen clarifies that people love creating drama on and off screen.
"We used to share a professional relationship and continue to do so. People love to cook up stories and dramatise stuff. My personal and professional life are going fine. I did a show, left it and we moved on; there are no skeletons to dig. I still respect her as a producer," adds Nausheen.
