On Tuesday, a fire broke out on kids reality show, 'The Voice India Kids'. The judges of the show, singer Neha Kakkar, and rapper Badshah were prepping up for New Year's upcoming special episode when blaze occurred due to a short-circuit on the sets. A Mumbai Mirror report states that the incident took place at 12.30 pm on the Madh Island set. "The waiting area for contestants, which is adjacent to the PCR (programming and creative room) and the stage, was damaged, but the crew sprang into action before the fire could spread. Shooting resumed after two hours," reported the publication.

Celebrity judge Neha Kakkar shared the horrifying experience with the daily, "We were performing on the song 'Kala Chasma' (from the Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra-starrer 'Baar Baar Dekho'). The fire started just as we got done with the performance."
Other judges of the panel including Shaan, Papon, Himesh Reshammiya and Palak Muchhal were also in attendance on the sets during the incident. "Everything is under control and thankfully the production team has taken care of everything," informed Papon to the publication.
