Close call for Kumkum Bhagya actor Mishal Raheja

The Kumkum Bhagya actor was in Indonesia just hours before the earthquake & found out about the mishap after frantic messages from his Indonesian fans.

Actor Mishal Raheja who recently made a television comeback with the hit show Kumkum Bhagya is relieved & how. The actor was shooting in the Southeast Asian nation made up of thousands of volcanic islands & just flew back in time to bay before the earthquake that claimed many lives & left many injured & stranded.

A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck the Indonesian tourist island of Lombok early Sunday while the actor was on a flight back to Mumbai & learnt about the catastrophe as soon as he landed with messages from his Indonesian fans & family members asking about his whereabouts.

Mishal shares, "I was shooting for a show from July 23rd to 28th, at a spot in the close vicinity of the affected area. The villagers were extremely warm & hospitable . We enjoyed the local cuisine & I even went fishing with them. Most of the people there knew me as my show Laagi Tujhse Lagan was quiet popular in Indonesia."

"However, just as I landed back home & switched on my phone, I saw messages & posts on my social media account, inquiring about my safety. That's when I realized that an earthquake had struck. It's depressing. Many have been injured, I hope and pray for their well being."
