Tej and Tripathi have shared screen space in two films so far. It was on one of the sets of these films (‘Mister’, 2015) that the Telugu heartthrob and Tollywood resident beauty met for the first time. However, it was only during the shooting of their second film, ‘Antariksham 9000 KMPH’, when rumours about their relationship started making the rounds
Their engagement was an intimate affair with family members in attendance. Allu Arjun and his wife Allu Sneha Reddy posed with the couple at the ceremony. Allu Arjun had also shared an old video where his father Allu Aravind was heard saying that Lavanya will end up marrying a Telugu man. Allu Arjun called his father a visionary revisiting the video
Chiranjeevi and his wife also arrived to bless the couple on their big day
Ram Charan along with his wife Upasana blessed the couple. "Welcome to the Konidela family dearest Lavanya. Looking forward to celebrating my dearest thodi kodalu.Varunnnnnn soooooo happy for you," wrote Upasana congratulating the couple
The groom's father Naga Babu wrote, "Overflowing with emotions as I witness my son's engagement and welcome his beautiful bride-to-be into our family. It's a joyous moment that bridges the past and the present. Love and blessings to the happy couple as they embark on this incredible journey together"
The couple is expected to tie the knot later this year
