Following the incredible success of her south debut, with âSita Ramam' which became of the most critically appreciated Telugu films of 2022, Mrunal Thakur will now be seen starring opposite one of Telugu cinemas youngest star, Nani in her next south venture. The film is an emotional family drama being directed by Shouryuv. The film has commenced shoot with its mahurat shot in Hyderabad. The cast and crew were all smiles as they posted together for pictures.

Mrunal has been shuffling between Hyderabad and Mumbai as she's been busy prepping for the film, in between workshops as part of the character prep. Mrunal expressed her happiness of working in the film by saying, "I'm sure elated and excited to be part of this project. It's a really heartwarming story and the team backing the project is immensely talented. I'm looking forward to working with Nani. It's an interesting curve, given I did the remake of âJersey' last year, a film Nani originally starred in".
Mrunal, who started her career with television, has progressed to the silver screen and has delivered films like 'Dhamaka', 'Jersey', 'Batla House' and is currently looking forward to the much-anticipated, 'Pippa'.

Mrunal, who had an extremely eventful last year, was all gratitude for the year gone by. A few weeks back, Mrunal spoke about last year by saying, "I have had an amazing 2022 and this year is always going to be special to me. There are some amazing projects lined up that are coming up next year. Now I am looking forward to 'Pippa', which makes me so happy being associated with. It's been a satisfying year for me." 'Pippa' also stars Ishaan Khatter and is based on the Battle of Garibpur that was fought during the India-Pakistan War of 1971"
She added, "It's just gratitude that I am feeling right now for the love I am receiving. Most importantly, I have grown so much as an actor because of being part of movies which are vastly different from each other." The actress also has 'Pooja Meri Jaan', which is about a girl named Pooja who is being stalked by an unidentified admirer of hers.
