Ahead of Suriya's birthday on July 23, the makers of his upcoming film treated fans with a glimpse from the film. They shared a poster featuring Suriya, however, his face was not to be seen in it. The new poster has had fans excited for the upcoming film which pairs Suriya with Disha.
Suriya, who was last seen a year ago in Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Vikram' as Rolex is busy with the shoot of 'Kanguva', a period film. Releasing a poster of the film, the makers also announced a the release date of the first glimpse video. The poster gives a glimpse of his warrior costume. The poster also includes the words 'The man, the wild, the story'.

Bankrolled by Studio Green and UV Creations, the film stars Suriya and Disha Patani in lead roles. The supporting cast included Kovai Sarala, yogi Bau, Redin Kingsley, Anandraj, Ravi Raghavendra, K.S Ravikumar, and B/S Avinash. Written by Adi Narayan, Nishadh Yusuf has handled the editing and Devi Sri prasad has scored.
Meanwhile, Suriya was recently spotted at Mumbai airport with his song. It has been reported that the actor along with his actor-wife Jyotika and kids have shifted base to Mumbai for the education of their kids. For the longest time, the family has lived in Chennai. They recently purchased a Rs 70 crore property in Mumbai. When papped at the airport, Suriya requested the photographers to not click his son Dev and they obliged.
On the work front, After 'Kanguva' and 'Suriya 43', the actor will be starting the work for his film 'Vaadivaasal', which is directed by Vetrimaaran. Meanwhile, it is also said that Suriya will be signing up for a Bollywood film with Rakeysh Om Prakash. Suriya is also gearing up for the Hindi remake of his National award-winning film 'Soorarai Pottru'. The Hindi remake stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan. The original and the remake have both been directed by Sudha Kongara. The Hindi remake which is yet untitled will be released in February next year.
