Amala Paul got allegedly molested at a dance studio in Chennai.
Two South Indian actresses, Amala Paul and Sanusha were reportedly harassed in two unfortunate incidents in Chennai. Amala Paul was allegedly harassed on Thursday, February 1. A Mumbai Mirror report states that a middle-aged businessman identified as T. Alageswaran has been arrested by Mambalam police officials on the basis of sexual harassment alleged by actress Amala. Reportedly, she was at a dance rehearsal studio at T.Nagar for a forthcoming event to be scheduled in Malaysia where Alageswaran allegedly misbehaved with her. The accused has been booked for sexual harassment intending to ruin the modesty of a woman by word, gesture or act under Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act.
In his defense, the accused has said that he approached Amala on behalf of a Malaysian businessman. The report further adds that the police are examining the phone calls received by Alageswaran. Amala Paul has said that she felt her life was at risk and that the incident should be a learning lesson for all those who dare misbehave with women.
The other incident that took place on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, involves Malayalam actress Sanusha, who was on a Thiruvananthapuram-Kannur Express, who complained of allegedly being molested in the moving train. A youngster from Kanyakumari has been arrested by the Vadakancherry Railway Police on charges of harassing Sanusha. The identification of the accused is Anto Bose. The actress was sleeping in her berth when she felt a man's fingers on her mouth.

"I was sleeping and this guy was sleeping right opposite to me. I felt somebody rubbing my lips. When I opened my eyes, his hand was on my lips. I caught his hand, switched on the lights and called for help," she told ANI.
She also stated that it was heartbreaking to see that nobody reacted or supported her. "I then went to see the train ticket examiner. He called for police, who took him with them," she added.
