Jungkook at Good Morning America, Pic/Weverse
BTS's Jungkook dropped his digital single 'Seven' yesterday. The artist is causing a stir on Twitter as he made history by becoming the first K-pop solo artist to grace the stage of Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series. Jungkook arrived at New York City's Central Park on Friday, captivating the audience with a live rendition of his newly released track "Seven," alongside a string of other mesmerizing performances, including Dynamite and a live-band version of Euphoria. Fans and onlookers alike quickly shared numerous photos and videos from the concert, making the event an instant online sensation.
Jungkook had a lot of activities planned around the release of Seven, including a special game segment with Spotify, as well as Q&A sessions with Apply Music. One such video featured Jungkook giving ARMYs 'TMI' (too much information - little titbits) about his life. While fans already know much about BTS and their quirky personalities through the continuous slew of content such as Bangtan Bombs (on YouTube) and reality shows like Run! BTS and Bon Voyage, we can never know quite enough about our favourite artists.
In the TMI session, Jungkook revealed that he likes winter more than summer as he finds it difficult to manage his schedule during the hot, languid weather. Upon being asked whether there's any particular album/artist that he is currently playing on loop, he said that he can't choose one particular EP but takes to playing curated playlists while working out as they keep him motivated. Imagine one of your random workout playlists on Spotify being liked by Jungkook himself!
The artist answered all the questions in his signature frank and cute way. Essentials for JK when stepping out were his phone, his wallet and...his clothes! He also thought it very difficult to choose just two dinner guests to invite, so he ended up picking his parents instead! Family's favourite child indeed.

ARMYs know that Jungkook, along with Jin is the biggest foodie in BTS. The artist was asked to give a sweet-and-savoury food recommendation and instantly said Hawaiian pizza! Pineapple on pizza lovers, this one's for you.
Jungkook recently treated fans to glimpses of his rippling muscles during a Weverse livestream. No wonder he looks like that, considering he is into Tabata, and his workout routine consists of 45 minute sessions, twice a day.
Other BTS members including Namjoon, Suga, J-Hope and Jimin have released their full-length solo albums - and fans have eagerly been waiting for Jungkook's album to drop as well. While the Golden Maknae said he hopes to release the album by the end of this year, ARMYs have already been swept away with the honeyed vocals of the artist in Seven, and await more music from him.
