BTS' Jimin is not letting the ARMY take a breath. The pop star is all set to mesmerize everyone with his upcoming second solo album, Muse, which will be released on July 19. Following the success of his debut album Face, which is all about themes of identity, Muse is going to be the second solo album that will explore the origins of his inspiration.
Today, on July 17, BIGHIT MUSIC, the label managing BTS, announced Jimin's second album along with its release date. Taking to Weverse, they wrote:
"Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC.
We are excited to share details about the release of BTS member Jimin's second solo album, "MUSE."
Following his first solo album, "FACE," where he sought to explore his true identity, "MUSE" documents his journey in search of the source of his inspiration.
Showcasing Jimin's expanded musical spectrum, "MUSE" includes seven tracks, including the fan song "Closer Than This," released in December 2023.
We ask for your continued love and support for Jimin's second solo album, "MUSE."
Pre-Order Period: Starts 11 AM, Tuesday, June 18, 2024 (KST)
Release Date and Time: 1 PM, Friday, July 19, 2024 (KST)"
Previously, they teased the release with a "COMING SOON" video featuring Jimin. Fans quickly drew references and decoded hints from the teaser clip. This announcement has thrilled the ARMY, who are now reacting to the happy news.

BTS member Jimin enlisted in the military on December 12, 2023, with an anticipated discharge in June 2025. Prior to his enlistment, he released his album Face and a collaborative solo track titled "Like Crazy." He is also serving as the brand face for Dior.
