Singer-songwriter Nick Jonas, who was recently in India for the maiden gig of Jonas Brothers, was stopped by airport security at the Mumbai airport. The video, which has gone viral, shows the singer, hounded by paparazzi at the airport, being temporarily stopped from entering the terminal. The security personnel at the airport asked his team for some documents as they checked for a solution while the singer had to wait outside the terminal.
As per media reports, the singer was stopped due to an alleged oversight by his team regarding his tickets.
The Jonas Brothers' performance at the second edition of the multi-genre music festival Lollapalooza India in Mumbai was one of the highlights of the festival. It was their first time performing in India.
One standout moment from the 'Lollapalooza India' gig was Nick's elder brother Kevin calling him 'Jiju' implying that Mumbai is home to him and the three brothers as Nick is married to actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Kevin called Nick, 'Jiju' prior to performing the song 'Waffle House' from their studio album. The crowd then chanted 'Jiju' following Joe's cue as Nick took the mic to sing. Actress Taapsee Pannu, who was also present at the music festival with her sister Shagun and friends, shared a video of her chanting 'jiju' with the crowd. While Priyanka Chopra did not attend the event, she shared a video of the crowd chanting jiju and thanked the audience for showering love on her husband and his brothers.

While Nick owned the stage with his vocals, he also shredded on stage as he joined forces with his brother on the lead guitar. The energy of the performers and the crowd was over the roof. The highlight of the act was when Indian rapper King joined Nick Jonas on stage to groove to his chart-topper âMaan Meri Jaan'. The quintessential 'national jiju', as the crowds fondly called him, was greeted with âLove You Nick', âDon't be Jealous Priyanka' and âWe are a Sucker for you, Jonas Bros' posters high up in the air pumped up the unmatched energy.
