Comic actors Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes will host the Academy Awards ceremony in March, Hollywood publication Variety and other media outlets reported.
This development marks three firsts for the ceremony - the first since 2018 that the Oscars will have a host, the first since 1987 that it has had three, and the first time ever that all three will be women. The comedians' names were reportedly announced on ABC's Good Morning America (GMA). ABC, owned by Walt Disney Co, will broadcast the Oscars ceremony on March 27.
The film industry's highest honours are handed out by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. It has been 35 years since as many as three people hosted Hollywood's biggest night.
