The 47-year-old actor took to his Facebook page to share the throwback pic of him holding his daughter alongside a sweet note, News.com au reports.
The 'focus' actor captioned the throwback pic, 'Happy Birthday, my Bean. 15 years old today!! When you were born it took about 2 seconds to realize that I was willing to die for you.'
He continued, 'Thank you for correcting my heart - and teaching me how to love without constriction or condition.'
Willow's mother Jada Pinkett Smith also posted an adorable pic of her daughter as a toddler and wrote, 'I always knew the day would come when you would grow out of your father's ears smile emoticon.'
The caption further read, 'You are everything and more I imagined a daughter of mine to be. Keep pioneering, keep shining and know' your mother loves you.Happy Birthday Willowbean You're 15!!!!!
Smith and Jada, who tied the knot on December 31, 1997, are also parents to 17 year-old Jaden Smith.
