Kate Winslet was honored atu00a0 the 2009 Bambi Awards at Metropolis Hall in Potsdam Germany. The 34-year-old English actress was bestowed a Bambi and bowed down when she received it. The Bambi awards are annually given by Hubert Burda Media to recognize excellence in international media and television with vision and creativity who affected and inspired the Germany public. These awards were first given out in 1948.
