Hansika Motwani, born on August 9, 1991, is an Indian actress who mainly works in Tamil and Telugu movies. 

Hansika started her TV career with the show Shaka Laka Boom Boom and later acted in the Indian serial Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand.

She was also one of the children in the movie Koi... Mil Gaya. At the age of 15

She made her debut in 2007 as the lead in Puri Jagannadh's Telugu film Desamuduru, which earned her an award for Best Female Debut – South

She then appeared in the Hindi film Aap Kaa Surroor with Himesh Reshammiya.

In 2008, her first release was Bindaas with Puneeth Rajkumar, marking her only Kannada film so far. Later that year, she starred alongside Jr. NTR in Kantri.

Her first release in 2017 was Bogan, which received positive reviews. Critics especially praised her performance in key scenes.

She also appeared in the Telugu film Luckunnodu and made her debut in Malayalam cinema with Villain in 2017.

In 2018, her first release was Gulaebaghavali, where she played a con artist named Viji. 

Later that year, she appeared in Thuppakki Munai with Vikram Prabhu.

 In 2019, she starred with Atharvaa in the Tamil film 100, directed by Sam Anton, and in the Telugu film Tenali Ramakrishna BA. BL opposite Sundeep Kishan.

For her 50th film, Hansika played the lead in Maha (2022). 

She was also featured in the horror films 105 Minuttess (2024) and Guardian (2024).

Hansika Motwani married her longtime boyfriend, businessman Sohail Khaturiya, on December 4, 2022, at Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur.

She serves as the brand ambassador for "Chennai Turns Pink," a program focused on raising awareness about breast cancer among women.
