Randeep Hooda also made an appearance at the screening. The Highway star opted for a simple-yet-stylish grey t-shirt, denim and brown shoes. On the work front, he is currently shooting for Rat on a Highway in which he will be playing the role of an advertising professional, who cannot remember the last 48 hours of his life. Randeep has recently wrapped up Imtiaz Ali's film which features Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan.
Kunal Kapoor was also snapped by the paparazzi at the screening. The Rang De Basanti actor, who was last seen in Noblemen, has assumed a new role — the actor has kicked off a new chat show, Podcast MD by Ketto. The Kapoor-hosted series will feature common people who have battled severe medical conditions and emerged triumphant.
Speaking about Saand Ki Aankh, the movie is based in the heartland of Uttar Pradesh. It revolves around the Chandro (Taapsee Pannu) and Prakashi (Bhumi Pednekar) who take up shooting at the age of 50 to encourage their daughters towards a bright future.
Despite all odds, they won 352 medals each in the course of their veteran professional life as shooters. Saand Ki Aankh is produced by Anurag Kashyap, Reliance Entertainment and Nidhi Parmar. The film is slated to release on October 25.
Saand Ki Aankh is set to clash with Housefull 4 and Made in China at the box office. The makers of the latter also hosted a special screening for biggies in Bollywood including Kartik Aaryan. The Lukka Chuppi actor opted for a classic black t-shirt and denim for the screening.
Kartik's Lukka Chuppi co-star Aparshakti Khurana also graced the screening with his wife Akriti Khurana.
Rajkummar Rao also attended the screening of his film. Made In China is based on the life of a struggling businessman, Raghu (Rajkummar) who embarks on a journey to China in order to make his business flourish.
The funny journey and Rajkummar's experiences help the actor to become a successful entrepreneur later. Mouni Roy will be seen portraying Rajkummar's wife (Rukmini) in the film. Apart from the duo, the film also stars Boman Irani, Gajraj Rao and Paresh Rawal in comic roles.
