Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel visit Pali Hill, Bandra office

On Wednesday, the city witnessed a dramatic turn in Kangana Ranaut's personal and professional life when Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) bulldozers razed to the ground her 'illegal' office. As soon as Kangana and sister Rangoli landed in Mumbai, they shared vent their anger out on social media. Later on Thursday, Kangana and sister visited the office premise in Pali Hill, Bandra. Hours after the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished the office of Kangana Ranaut in Mumbai, many organisations came out in her support. One of them being Himachali Mitr Mandal who approached the National Commission of Women and the Centre to intervene in the matter.

The reactions came after the BMC on Wednesday started demolishing the actress' Bandra property for alleged unauthorised modifications and extensions. The actress had tweeted photographs of the BMC demolishing and had also reacted to it. Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel visited the site to take a look at the damage to their property.

Kangana Ranaut took to Twitter as soon as she landed in the city, and shared a video where speaks in Hindi. She shared that she now understands how Kashmiri Pandits felt after the property is vandalised.

In the clip, Kangana is heard saying in Hindi: "Udhhav Thackeray, do you think that you along with the film mafia broke my house and took big revenge? Today my home is broken, tomorrow your ego will be broken. This is the wheel of time. Remember this. It doesn't always remain the same. [sic]"

Kangana Ranaut has already been provided with the Y-plus category security cover by the Union Home Ministry in the wake of the row over her remarks, in which she compared Mumbai with Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) and also criticised Mumbai police.
