The Sky Is Pink is the story of a family that goes through countless lows but doesn't give up despite them. It's the love story of a couple told through the perspective of their spunky daughter, Aisha.

While Zaira Wasim plays Aisha Chaudhary and Rohit Saraf plays her brother, Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar play their parents in the movie.

The trailer of the film was released on September 10, and ever since then, the audience can't stop praising the entire team of The Sky Is Pink. The trailer highlights the life of Aisha Chaudhary (Zaira), who becomes a motivational speaker after being diagnosed with an immune deficiency order at the age of 13.

In an exclusive interview with mid-day, director of The Sky Is Pink couldn't stop praising the cast. "I have always had an umbilical cord stretching between me and my actors in my prior movies."

"But in this film, that cord was the most intense it has ever been. I had an emotional and honest relationship with my actors. Priyanka, Farhan, Zaira and Rohit [Saraf] have surpassed my expectations with their performances," Shonali Bose further added.

Priyanka Chopra showed off her desi girl avatar in a black floral saree she opted to shoot for the promotions of The Sky Is Pink. She completed her ethnic look with a mangalsutra and black bangles.

Directed by Shonali Bose, The Sky is Pink is produced by RSVP and Roy Kapur Films, in association with S K Global and Purple Pebble Pictures. The film is written by Shonali Bose and Nilesh Maniyar. It is slated to release on October 11, 2019.
