On September 27, Yash Raj Films, one of the leading production houses in the country, was all set to announce its upcoming line-up of films to mark its 50th year in the business. The films included Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham's Pathan, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Tiger 3, Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chhillar's film with Vijay Krishna Acharya, and Ajay Devgn's Superhero drama.
However, due to unknown reasons, the plans were postponed. A report by Pinkvilla now states that the banner is planning something special to announce these biggies officially. And that's not all, they plan to create a showreel that will also give fans a glimpse of all the films they have helmed ever since their inception.
A source told the portal, "A special show reel is being prepared for the big screen to celebrate the YRF films till date, and in the same show reel, announce their slate of upcoming films, which includes films with Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Ajay Devgn, and Vicky Kaushal among others."
It added, "It will be a grand video celebrating cinema, and some visuals from these forthcoming films are also expected," revealed a trade source, adding further that, the show reel will premiere in the cinema halls once the Bollywood biggies set the box office rolling." The source also talked about the other films of YRF that were announced earlier.
