A paparazzo account recently put out a picture of Vidya Balan posing with a young girl at the airport. While celebrities getting papped at the airport is not new, what got people's attention is the caption by a paparazzo on social media. "Vidya Balan with cute daughter," read the caption which gave birth to multiple speculations. While netizens were trying to figure out about this 'secret' daughter, some praised the actress for being able to keep her personal life private so long in this age of social media.
Well, turns out it was not Vidya Balan's daughter with her at the airport that day. Talking to Hindustan Times, Vidya Balan clarified that the little girl she was posing with was her sister's daughter. "That is my sister's daughter Ira! She has twins: a boy Ruhaan and Ira," the actress shared. However, she treats her niece and nephew like her own kids and calls them her "twin lifelines". Vidya Balan is married to producer Siddharth Roy Kapur. The two tied the knot in 2012.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Vidya Balan was last seen in the film 'Neeyat' where she played a CBI officer who lands in a private bungalow of a rich man. When the patriarch unexpectedly dies, Balan's character sets out to investigate and bring out the truth. She will next be seen in the film titled 'Lovers' which also stars Ileana D'Cruz and Pratik Gandhi.
Vidya Balan, since making her big Bollywood debut in 2005, till now she has delivered some outstanding performances in her career.The Government of India honoured her with the prestigious Padma Shri award in 2014 for her contributions to the film industry.

She aspired to be an actor since she was a child, and she had her first acting role in the sitcom Hum Paanch in 1995. She made her cinematic debut in the Bengali film Bhalo Theko in 2003.
Vidya went on to make a name for herself as a strong female lead in a few consecutive hit movies, that includes films like Paa (2009), Ishqiya (2010), No One Killed Jessica and Kahaani (2012), and The Dirty Picture (2011).
