Toofaan teaser: Farhan Akhtar's boxer act in this power-packed teaser looks promising

And here's the teaser of the much-talked-about sports drama, Toofaan. The movie stars Farhan Akhtar a goon from Dongri who embarks on a journey to become a national-level boxer, alongside Mrunal Thakur, Paresh Rawal, Supriya Pathak Kapur and Hussain Dalal.

Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the teaser gives a glimpse into the world of Toofaan with Farhan Akhtar packing the punches, leaving the fans asking for more. The power-packed teaser is just a sneak peek into what's in store for the audiences.

The forthcoming film will stream on Amazon Prime Video starting May 21, 2021. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani (Excel Entertainment), Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra (ROMP Pictures), and Farhan, the highly-anticipated sports drama is helmed by Rakeysh.

The project marks second collaboration for Akhtar and Mehra post "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag", the 2013 biopic on legendary Indian athlete Milkha Singh. Mehra is reuniting with Akhtar after seven years and he said the actor-director was the perfect fit for the lead role in Toofaan. "After working with Farhan in 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', I was certain he would be the perfect protagonist for 'Toofaan'. The best thing about him is that he does not act the part, but lives it completely. Toofaan is a story that will motivate and inspire all of us to get out of comfort zones and fight towards achieving our dreams. We cannot wait to present our film to viewers across the globe," the filmmaker said.
