Filming for Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani has come to a standstill amid soaring cases. Makers of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's movie had erected a mammoth set at Goregaon's Film City. It now remains untouched.

A source reveals, "A Durga pandal had been created to shoot a crucial scene of the film. However, the makers have decided to cancel the shoot, keeping everybody's safety in mind."

The cast and crew were supposed to commence shooting on Monday, adds the source.

Given that the entire cast was meant to be part of the scene, this decision, opines the source, has been appropriately taken.

Apart from Singh and Bhatt, the film features an ensemble cast, including Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.
