Agastya Nanda
Agastya Nanda is the third generation of the Bachchan family to enter the film industry as an actor. The young star kid made his acting debut with the Netflix film 'The Archies' directed by Zoya Akhtar. Now, Agastya has embraced the social media world by marking his return on Instagram.
On Thursday, 'The Archies' star Agastya put out his first Instagram post and made his account public. Among the first followers on his handle were his sister Navya Naveli Nanda and mom Shweta Nanda Bachchan. He shared a solo picture of himself giving an intense pose dressed in a brown polo t-shirt. Agastya left the caption section blank and let the picture do the talking.
Soon after he dropped the picture, industry members took to the comment section to welcome him on Instagram. "Big hug" wrote Gauri Khan. "Love and hugs baby boy", wrote Shweta Bachchan while Navya welcomed her younger brother.
Arjun Kapoor commented, "Welcome Aggy Boy!!!"

Meanwhile, Agastya was away from social media for the longest time even during the promotion of his debut film. In an interview with NDTV before the release of the The Archies, Agastya revealed why he has decided to stay away from social media. "I did have a social media account and I used to get really stressed, what should I post, what filter, what angle, jawline. I used to do all this and then I was like scrap it. I am going to do some cool artsy thingâ¦and I am not artsy. I did some cool collage and posted it. I thought this is my big reveal, I have arrived. I am going to make a public account, people are going to follow me. But people started unfollowing me."
He shared that he had 800 followers when his account was private and it shot up to 20000 when he made it public. However, when he posted a carefully thought-out collage his followers came down to 500. He also said that there were news articles about his big Instagram reveal being a failure and his family members forwarded him those screenshots.
Agastya, however, revealed he is up to date with what's happening on social media as he has a fake account through which he watches reels on Instagram.
