Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya
From their first Hindi film 'Shor in the City' (2011), directors Raj-DK have found the perfect collaborators in composers Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya, better known as Sachin-Jigar. So, when it came to their upcoming web series, 'Farzi', the filmmaker duo didn't have to look beyond them. The crime thriller - starring Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Raashii Khanna, and Amol Palekar - traces the cat-and-mouse chase between a con artist and a task force officer. In keeping with the fast-paced thriller, Sachin-Jigar created the up-tempo Sab farzi, and Paisa hai toh.

The musician duo say that their frequent collaborations with Raj-DK over the past 12 years have familiarised them with their likes and dislikes. "It is always easy to work with them; we share an incredible connection. They give us complete creative control over the music, and provide honest feedback," says Sachin.

Having created albums for many web series, including 'The Family Man', the musicians observe that OTT offerings demand songs that take the narrative forward. This was their foremost thought when creating the songs. Jigar adds, "Farzi has been a special project. These songs depict the realities of life, including how everything ends and becomes farzi [fake]. Sab farzi and Paisa hai toh are similar to each other as both tell the story [of the show]."
