Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's love story began on the set of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Goliyon Ki Raas Leela Ram Leela in 2013. Since then, they have been painting the town red. Interestingly, the film's release date collides with the couple's wedding anniversary. Today, Ram Leela completes 10 years and Ranveer-Deepika are celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary.
On the occasion of 10 years of Ram Leela, Ranveer shared some BTS pictures from the film's set. He clicked pictures with Deepika, Bhansali and Priyanka Chopra, who did the special song, Ram Chahe Leela. The actor also posted a picture of Deepika's injured feet. She sustained injuries during the filming of the high-intensity garba song, Nagada Sang Dhol. Ranveer's caption read, "10 years of RamLeela - the one that changed our lives .. in more ways than one!"

11 years of 'Ram-Leela': The film that started Ranveer-Deepika's love story
Recalling the initial stages of their love story, Ranveer said on Koffee With Karan 8, "We met in 2012, started dating, and the shooting of Ram Leela commenced. So half into 2012 and 2013. It was during the filming of Ram Leela that this was all happening. We were making an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. So there was this fire and Mr Bhansali was only too happy to fan this fire. It would be so apparent."
He remembered his first meeting with Deepika at Bhansali's home. Ranveer said, "I was sitting at the table and the door was there. He has these heavy doors and he lives by the seaside. So these heavy doors open and the gush of wind comes from the sea. And there she is in a white chikankari, like this embodiment of simplicity. I was like, "Oh My God! She comes and we have a discussion about the character and what's going to ensue. Finally, we took a break for lunch. The writers, Mr Bhansali, Deepika, and I were sitting at the lunch table. She's sitting right next to me and Mr Bhansali obviously wants to treat us. There were delicacies and crab. We were having crab. She smiled and I noticed a piece of crab was stuck over there (referring to her teeth). I was being a bit of a smartass. I was like let me catch her, put her on the spot. She'll feel a little embarrassed and vulnerable. I'll be like, "You got something in your teeth. She'll be like Aaye Haaye." I told her, "You got a little something," she said, "Really, clean it." I took my pinky finger and cleaned a little bit of crab out of there. This to me was like putting my finger into a socket. That 440 volts shock I got that day, I'm still feeling the tremors of that jolt. That moment of spark happened right then and there."
