Ranveer Singh recalls the time Amitabh Bachchah compared his outfit to a plant

Apart from his acting skills, Ranveer Singh often makes headlines for his quirky sense of style and fashion. He recently revealed how Amitabh Bachchan had an unexpected reaction to his look at an event. He revaled that despite wearing a 'costly suit', Mr. Bachchan was left unimpressed.

Ranveer Singh is currently promoting his film 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' directed by Karan Johar and co-starring Alia Bhatt. Recently, while promoting the film, he attended an event at IIMUN. At the event, he was asked if he ever regretted wearing any of his outfits in public.

"I have. There was one suit that was pretty costly and we were at a discussion and Amitabh Bachchan was at that event too. I thought I was wearing the best suit of the world and when I asked Big B, ‘Sir, how do I look?' He said, ‘ Son, you are looking like a plant'," shared Ranveer responding to the question.

Ranveer Singh's unique sense of fashion has always amused many and often becomes meme material on social media. Last year, Singh surprised all when he went naked for the cover of Paper Magazine. "I work f'''ing hard. I want to wear nice s''t. Eat my f'''ing ass, I will wear nice f'''ing s''t. I bust my b'''s, I work 20-hour days. I'm not complaining - I'm only too happy and too grateful - but I go f'''ing hard. I will f'''ing buy Gucci, I will wear it from head to toe. Anybody who judges me can eat my f'''ing a''," Ranveer told the magazine.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh will be seen playing a flamboyant Punjabi munda in 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'. The film will be released in theatres on July 28. The film is centered around two individuals- Rocky and Rani- who come from very different cultural backgrounds. While they fall in love and wish to get married, they have the mammoth task of getting their culturally different families on board. The film also stars Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan.
