The movie âAdipurush', featuring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, is once again in the spotlight, this time due to its sizable budget, coinciding with the triumph of ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 mission. Directed by Om Raut, reports suggest that the film was produced with a whopping budget of Rs 600 crores, a fact that caught attention through a Reddit post. Interestingly, Chandrayaan-3, India's recent lunar exploration achievement, was accomplished with a reported budget of approximately Rs 615 crores.
Amidst India's celebrations of its historic milestone, being the first country to reach the unexplored south pole of the moon, social media witnessed a wave of criticism aimed at the creators of 'Adipurush'. This critique stems from the film's earlier controversy, where it faced backlash for allegedly distorting characters and narratives from the revered Hindu epic Ramayana. While some heavily bashed the film once again some took to Twitter to point out the difference between the two.
