Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Pathaan' is currently in its second week in the theatres. The film which has been breaking records at the box office since its release on January 25 is till dominating the box office in week 2. The film which has crossed Rs. 400 crore in India has started the second week on a good note.
After a good weekend 2 collection, the film collected Rs. 8.25 crore on its second Monday at the Indian box office. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "#Pathaan is SUPER-STRONG on [second] Mon [weekday rates], especially after collecting a HUMONGOUS TOTAL till Weekend 2⦠Inches closer to #KGF2 #Hindi 'lifetime biz'⦠[Week 2] Fri 13.50 cr, Sat 22.50 cr, Sun 27.50 cr, Mon 8.25 cr. Total: â¹ 422.75 cr. #Hindi. #India biz."
With this the film is inching closer to cross the lifetimes business of 'KGF 2'(Hindi). The lifetime collection of KGF 2 (Hindi) is Rs. 434.70 crore. If the film keeps up the momentum, it may also cross the lifetime business of 'Baahubali 2' (Hindi) which is at Rs. 511 crore.

Meanwhile, Yash Raj Films has dropped the ticket rates of the film at National Chains to make cinema going experience more affordable in Week 2.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, 'Pathaan' has now become the highest grossing Hindi film worldwide in the history of Hindi cinema and also the highest grossing film of YRF's Spy Universe'. âPathaan', which has been bankrolled YRF, has the biggest superstars of the country in the form of Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in it.
Meanwhile, at a recent event the team of 'Pathaan' addressed the press and expressed their gratitude to all for the success of the film. At the event, Siddharth Anand also shared that they will be making a sequel to the film looking at the massive response to 'Pathaan'. Shah Rukh Khan, too, said that he will work harder and better himself for the sequel. While we wait for the sequel, Shah Rukh Khan will soon be seen as Pathaan on the big screen when he joins Salman Khan's Tiger in 'Tiger 3'. As Salman was seen coming to Pathaan's aide in the film, the latter will be seen returning the favour in the upcoming film scheduled to release during Diwali this year.
