A couple of months back, Saira Banu shared a black-and-white portrait on Instagram to mark the birth anniversary of Kishore Kumar. He was photographed beside her late husband, Dilip Kumar.
Saira Banu, who started her film career at the age of 16, joined Instagram on the second death anniversary of her husband Dilip Kumar earlier this year. Among her several posts giving insight into the industry and her era, she had also shared a post of Kishore Kumar with Dilip Kumar. The photograph shows the singer of 'O Mere Dil Ke Chain' smiling as he looks at Dilip Kumar, who is standing in front of a microphone. While uploading the photo, Saira Banu wrote, "Remembering Kishore Kumar on his Birth Anniversary, who endowed both Sahib and me with memorable melodies that remain etched in our hearts and we had the pleasure of enacting the same in some of our favourite films such as SAGINA and PADOSAN."
Fans took to the comments section to express their love and appreciation. One fan wrote, "I cannot explain how many times I have seen Padosan, the more I watch that, the more my thirst for watching the film keeps deepening. Ma'am I loved your role so much & Ma'am, one thing which I also like about Kishore'da was that he considered our idol Dilip Kumar sahab as HIS FAVOURITE INDIAN ACTOR, even above his elder brother âDadamuni'."
Kishore Kumar is widely considered one of India's most influential and energetic vocalists. He is still remembered for his yodelling and ability to perform songs in several voices. The legend has given us with some exquisite tunes by lending his voice to songs like 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas,' 'Mere Sapnon Ki Rani,' 'Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hogi,' and many more. He was a fantastic singer as well as an amazing actor and musician.
