Karwa Chauth 2023 is being celebrated across the country today. Celebrities are observing fasts for their husbands. According to the age-old belief, married women worship Lord Shiva on Karva Chauth in an attempt to extend their husbands' lives. They end their fasts on the moonrise.
While actresses have been fasting for their husbands every year, some husbands also join their wives in the ritual. Several actors have opened up about observing Karwa Chauth fasts for their partners. On the festival, here's meeting husbands who fast with their wives.
Abhishek Bachchan
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been married for 16 years. While the actor never confirmed, his Ludo co-star Inaayat Verma revealed in an interview that he observes the Karwa Chauth fast for the Guru actress. The young actress said, "Abhishek bhaiyya aaj sargi khana bhul gaye hai toh unhone subah se kuch nahi khaya."

Virat Kohli has set the 'husband goal' benchmark high. Taking it further, he fasts with Anushka Sharma on Karwa Chauth. A few years ago, the cricketer made the revelation by sharing a picture with the actress. His caption read, "The ones who fast together laugh together. Happy karvachauth (sic)." Anushka and Virat got married in December 2017.
Ayushmann Khurrana
Ayushmann Khurrana had observed Karwa Chauth fast for his wife Tahira Kashyap when she was undergoing treatment for cancer. Sharing a picture of his mehendi which read, 'T' in Hindi, the actor won hearts. Ayushmann got married to Tahira before he ventured into Bollywood films. They tied the knot in 2008.
Prince Narula
Prince Narula adores Yuvika Chaudhary. Setting new standards for husbands, the reality show star observes Karwa Chauth fast with the actress. After recovering from COVID-19 in 2020, he didn't miss the routine and fasted for Yuvika. Prince and Yuvika met on Bigg Boss 9 and tied the knot in 2018.

Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty have been married for 14 years. The businessman, who is gearing up for the release of his debut film, UT 69, has been reportedly fasting for the actress for several years now.
