Kangana Ranaut spares no opportunity to take potshots at Karan Johar. A fan's tweet praising Simi Garewal's chat show, Rendezvous With Simi Garewal, made Ranaut ridicule KJo and his show, Koffee With Karan. "She tapped into the real essence of a celebrity, a complete sketch of the subject. Rendezvous with Jaya maa [Jayalalithaa] helped me a lot in my research, but the same can't be said about a certain Papa Jo whose interviews are all about bitching, bullying, gossip and frustrated sex."

Kangy's fan had posted, "I don't think any interviewer can match Simi Garewal's level of grace. The chat shows nowadays have no soul. Her show was authentic and enjoyable."

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut recently wrapped up the shoot of her film Tejas. Before Tejas, the actress will be seen in Thalaivi, a biopic on actor-turned-politician Jayalalithaa. Apart from this she also has 'Dhaakad' and 'Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda' in the pipeline. Kangana has also signed up to play the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in an upcoming political drama.
