Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra
Talk in tinsel town is that Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are seriously contemplating taking their relationship to the next level. Already, Shahid Kapoor said on Koffee with Karan that his Kabir Singh co-actor would make an announcement before the year-end, adding that the news wouldn't be related to her films. However, rumours are rife that the Shershaah jodi are likely to tie the knot next summer. Apparently, most of the wedding ceremonies will take place in Delhi, where Sid's family is based. The celebrations will culminate with a grand reception in Mumbai. It's another thing that the two actors have mostly been quiet about the relationship, except for Kiara conceding on Karan Johar's chat show that Sid is more than just a good friend.
Shah Rukh Khan, who wrapped up the Chennai schedule of Atlee's Jawan recently, will soon resume filming Dunki. Rajkumar Hirani's next directorial venture sees the actor collaborate with Boman Irani and Satish Shah yet again. While Boman plays a teacher who conducts English-speaking classes for the Punjabi youth in the film, Satish plays a London-based lawyer who represents illegal Asian immigrants in British courts. Incidentally, Satish has played an advocate twice before in SRK's films - Chalte Chalte (2003) and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani (2000). Moreover, Dunki marks Boman's seventh collaboration with King Khan.

Saif Ali Khan's family is in the headlines again. Apparently, his children won't be able to inherit the Pataudi Palace in Haryana and other ancestral property in Bhopal from Saif, just like he inherited it from his late father. Reportedly, the properties and assets belonging to the House of Pataudi come in the ambit of Enemy Disputes Act of the Government of India, due to which, no one can claim to be an heir of such property. It is being said that whoever from Saif's family wants to contest the Enemy Disputes Act will have to take the legal route. Reports claim that Saif's great-grandfather, Hamidullah Khan, who was the Nawab under the British regime, had never made a testament to all his assets. Consequently, there could be some contention from the members of the family from Saif's grand-aunt in Pakistan.

Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty's new film, tentatively titled NC22, has run into a controversy. Director Venkat Prabhu has been shooting the movie in the Melukote village of Mandya district in Karnataka for a few weeks. Reportedly, the locals objected to the bar set and dance set the filmmakers had built near the popular Raya Gopura temple. Maintaining that the bar setting and the shoot disrespected the shrine and hurt religious sentiments, the locals attacked the set and demanded an unconditional apology from the makers. Mandya District Collector Ashwathi, who issued the permission, apparently, was not aware of the setting and the scenes being shot there.
