Rakesh Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh Khan, who has worked on several films helmed by Rakesh Roshan, like Karan Arjun and Koyla, shot for the documentary, The Roshans. Rakesh took to his Instagram handle to share pictures of him with Khan. "Thank you, Shah Rukh for your love, warmth and contribution to The Roshans." The documentary will reportedly chronicle the journey of the Roshan family in the industry from 1948, when Rakesh's father, Roshan, came to Bombay for work and ended up being the assistant of music composer Khawaja Khurshid Anwar. mid-day had previously reported about the making of this documentary.
Sharing her experience of shooting Fighter at the Tezpur Air Force Station in Assam, Deepika Padukone recalled, "We shot our first schedule in Assam for 15 to 20 days. That was a live, active air base. It was a great decision on Sid's [Siddharth Anand] part to start the film on that note. It gave us the tone and the pitch to carry the story forward. The real aircrafts, fighters and their families were there. We were eating in the same place as the officers and we were living in their quarters. We played badminton with them. It was all so surreal, we could literally hear a Sukhoi aircraft taking off every five minutes."

In the latest episode of the ongoing reality TV show Bigg Boss 17, contestant Munawar Faruqui expressed his displeasure with co-contestant Mannara Chopra, who, he claims, kissed him while dancing on a festive evening. "I got uncomfortable because I have always maintained a line. I don't want to say this to her because it will be awkward for her," Faruqui told co-contestant Ankita Lokhande in the episode. He added, "When we were sitting on the sofa at night, she said the dance was nice, and asked, âYou had fun while dancing?' I said, it was," he shared, highlighting the events that led to the kiss.
To Kill a Tiger, set in a small Indian village, was nominated for the Best Documentary Feature at the 2024 Academy Awards. A Canadian production, To Kill a Tiger is directed by Delhi-born Nisha Pahuja, an Emmy-nominated filmmaker based in Toronto. The premiere of the documentary Ram Janmabhoomi Temple: The Return of a Splendid Sun, narrated by author and diplomat Amish Tripathi, was announced yesterday. It takes the viewers through the history of the land of Ayodhya, and the events that marked the revolutionary phenomenon. Through the eyes of Tripathi, the documentary sheds light on the story of the demolition of the temple in the 16th century.
