Renuka Shahane was among the first to extend support.
Among other things, Emraan Hashmi's reign in Bollywood during the initial phase of his career was attributed to the string of great songs - Pee loon, Jhalak dikhlaja, Woh lamhe - that he was part of. Sidharth Malhotra seems to be the next Hashmi, with the Shershaah star apparently emerging as the only Indian actor whose five consecutive songs have amassed over 3 million views. Malhotra's Raataan lambiyan, Thoda thoda pyaar, Tum hi aana, Ranjha, Mann bharya contributed to the win.
