The upcoming film, Devara Part 1, which stars NTR Jr, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, has locked in its release date. The film, helmed by Koratala Siva, is set to release on October 10, 2024 in cinemas. On Friday, NTR Jr took to X to share the release date of the film along with a new poster from the movie. The film's music is orchestrated by Anirudh Ravichander, and the cinematography is handled by R Rathnavelu.
Mouni Roy, who is gearing up for her upcoming streaming show, Showtime, has spoken up about the challenges she faced in the industry. Roy said that while a fair one, the industry is not an easy one to work in. Elaborating on the same, she said, "I've been typecast, yes, of course. But I've also been very lucky with directors who had the vision to see me in different roles, in different parts. It is a difficult industry. And along with hard work, it comes with a lot of challenges. There is a struggle; this you cannot deny." Showtime also stars Emraan Hashmi.

South Indian star Allu Arjun spoke about the plans for the expansion of his Pushpa franchise, the first of which was released in 2021. "You can expect part three. We do want to make it a franchise and we have exciting ideas for the line-up. A sizzle reel from the Pushpa franchise is being screened on the sidelines of the Berlin European Film Market to seed it as a brand for international audiences. There will also be a fan screening of Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1," said the actor as part two gears up for release in August. Berlin will be Arjun's first time in both Germany and at a film festival. "I want to see how people abroad are going to [receive] this film and try to understand how they view Indian cinema."
The makers of Sunil Grover-starrer Sunflower unveiled the riveting trailer for the second season of the crime comedy, offering a glimpse into the intriguing world of Sunflower, a middle-class housing society in Mumbai teeming with quirky characters. "I particularly enjoy playing such multi-layered characters as it gives me a chance to explore the character a lot more. The aim was to keep this season light-hearted while adding that layer of intrigue and mystery," Grover said about the next edition.

Ishq Vishk, the film that marked the debut of Shahid Kapoor, is returning in a new form. Ishq Vishk Rebound stars Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibraan Khan, and Naila Grewal, and is set to release in theatres on June 28. On Friday, the makers of the film released a video announcing the release date of the film. The video features 2D animation and promises a refreshing rom-com on friendship, drama, and confusion.
It seems, all is indeed not well between Dalljiet Kaur and her businessman-husband Nikhil Patel, as the two have unfollowed each other on Instagram amid speculation of a separation. Kaur had earlier dropped Patel's surname and had removed his pictures from the photo-sharing platform. The Kenya-based businessman too has removed her pictures from his account. However, there is no official confirmation from the couple of the separation. Dalljiet has a son named Jaydon, whom she shares with TV actor Shalin Bhanot, her ex-husband. Patel has a daughter from his previous marriage.
