Ananya Panday turns a year wiser today. It appears that the Dream Girl 2 actor has decided to bring in her 25th birthday away from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai, with someone special. Not surprising then that she was spotted at the airport along with rumoured beau Aditya Roy Kapur last morning. The two actors didn't shy away from leaving together, unlike their last few holidays in Lisbon and Goa, when they opted to depart and arrive separately. They also posed for the paparazzi as walked into the airport, this time around. That's a welcome change. Why be secretive when pictures from their holiday will eventually find their way to social media, no?

Vikrant to lead Raju's next

Even as Rajkumar Hirani is gearing up for the release of Dunki with Shah Rukh Khan, he is overseeing the prep for his next. The filmmaker is set to foray into OTT entertainment. The details of the project are being kept under wraps. Vikrant Massey, who is earning acclaim for his nuanced performance in 12th Fail, has been signed on as the lead actor. The filmmaker had been looking to take the digital route for a couple of years. He didn't waste time as soon as he found the right subject. However, Raju will only be producing the yet-untitled project, which will be helmed by one of his assistant directors.

On Wednesday, several film industry couples will be celebrating Karva Chauth. Incidentally, this marks the first Karva Chauth for Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani after their wedding in February. The couple will celebrate it in the traditional manner with his family at their Delhi home. Sid and Kiara landed in the capital yesterday, to spend time with the Malhotras and gear up for the festivities. The twosome twinned in white as they were photographed together at the Mumbai airport last morning. We hear that Sid will also observe the day-long fast like Kiara. After the moon-sighting, they will indulge in the yummy delicacies.

It appears that Karan Johar wants to course correct even as the eighth season of his chat show has just begun. The filmmaker and host of Koffee with Karan recently did an interactive session on social media. After listening to netizens' criticism, he has decided to drop the imposter game. Calling it an experiment, KJo conceded that sometimes experiments don't give the expected results. On the movies front, the filmmaker has also begun working on his next. KJo, who had earlier shared his plans of making an action film, has begun scripting it. He is hoping to crack the film's emotional core, after which he will work towards taking the story from paper to screen.
