Fatima Sana Shaikh
Fatima Sana Shaikh made her acting debut as a lead actress in the 2016 film 'Dangal' where she was seen playing Aamir Khan's daughter. Later, they worked together in the 2018 film Thugs of Hindostan which crashed at the box office. Recently, reports were claiming a reunion of the two actors on the big screen. Now, Fatima has dismissed the reports as rumours and said she has not been signed for any film by Aamir Khan.
A report in Pinkvilla had claimed that Fatima and Aamir Khan will be reuniting for a film directed by Advait Chandan. The director is credited for films like 'SecretSupersta' and 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. It also claimed that the film will be a light-hearted comedy-drama with an ensemble cast.
However, Fatima Sana Shaikh has put an end to the reports claiming that there is no truth to it. Talking to Instant Bollywood, Fatima said at an event, "It's not happening. If it was true, there would have been an announcement". She also added that all the reports doing the rounds are false.
Fatima was last seen in the recently released film 'Dhak Dhak'. She was seen in the film alongside Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, and Sanjana Sanghi. The film narrates the journey of four women from different walks of life taking a road trip on bikes to Leh. Fatima will next be seen in the film 'Sam Bahadur' where she plays the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film directed by Meghna Gulzar has Vicky Kaushal in the titular role. The film also reunites Fatima with Sanya Malhotra. The two girls made their leading actor debut together in Dangal.

Apart from the above, Fatima also has 'Metro...In Dino' in the pipeline. Directed by Anurag Basu, the film is a multi-starrer. Another perk that Metro In Dino offers is the opportunity to reunite with Anurag Basu. Shaikh had collaborated with the director on the 2020 drama, Ludo. "In Dada's films, each relationship has layers and nuances. In Metro, we will explore the dynamics between my partner [essayed by Fazal] and me. Dada is my person. I keep telling him, âGive me whatever role you want to. I just want to work with you all my life," she said in an interview with Mid-day.
