When asked what needs to be changed in society for mental well-being, she replied, "We're living in the age of social media which is a great threat to mental well-being if not monitored. There's a need to ensure that people who are consuming content on the internet and social media are the primary priorities and not just profits and increased consumption."
Avantika suggested measures for people who are facing mental health issues but are unable to talk due to social stigma. She shared, "I think some of our age-old remedies, like exercising, eating healthy, trying to get enough rest, sleep, and more sunlight are the right way to start. Seeking help is important and integral to the improvement of our mental health. Ignore stigma and people's perceptions. Care for yourself and your loved ones. Talk to close friends, family but most importantly trained experts when it feels more than just a bad day."
Avantika, the daughter of Bhagyashree and Himalay Dassani, is an actress. She made her acting debut with ZEE5's psychological thriller, Mithya. Co-starring Huma Qureshi, she played the role of Rhea Rajguru, who was accused of plagiarism by her teacher. She set out on a journey of vengeance to destroy the life of Juhi Adhikari (Huma). Her performance in the show was appreciated. Avantika is yet to announce her second project.
