Durga Puja 2023: Navratri, meaning 'nine nights', is one of the most popular and widely celebrated Hindu festivals in many parts of India. The festival is celebrated with fervour and festivity to mark the victory of Goddess Durga, who fought against the buffalo-headed demon Mahishasura.
On the morning of Saptami, Kajol was spotted visiting their family's Durga puja pandal in Juhu. For the auspicious day, Kajol opted for a rani pink saree. She also adorned her hair with pink flowers.
Apart from Kajol, several actresses went to seek the divine blessing at Durga Pujo pandal. But what caught our attention was Sushmita Sen who reached a pandal with her daughters. The actress opted for a traditional Indian look, donning a stunning pink saree. On the seventh day of the festival, the actress kept it simple and wore intricate earrings and opted for a fresh and understated makeup style while keeping her hair neatly tied in a ponytail. Sushmita was accompanied by her daughter Alisah and Renee Sen. The little one Alisah was seen wearing a simple lehenga choli while Renee was seen twinning with her mother in a pink saree.

Sushmita performed the traditional Dhunuchi dance at the pandal with her daughter Renee Sen.
As soon as the pictures went viral, fans started reacting to them. One fan wrote, "Shobar durga pujo khub bhalo katuk... Bolo Dugga Mai Ki joy.... Dugga Dugga". Another fan said, "Awww, She's still looking so Freaking Pretty". A third fan wrote, "Bollywood ki sbse achhi heroine". While others dropped heart emojis.
Similar to Sushmita, several prominent Bollywood actresses, including Rani Mukerji, Tanishaa Mukerji (Kajol's sister), the newly-married actress Kiara Advani, veteran actress Hema Malini, and her daughter Esha Deol, were seen seeking the blessings of Goddess Durga.
Meanwhile, on the acting front, Sushmita will next be seen in Aarya season 3. Created and co-directed by the ace filmmaker Ram Madhvani and co-produced by Amita Madhavni, Ram Madhvani, Ram Madhvani Films and Endemol Shine India, Aarya Season 3 is set to stream exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar from 3rd November onwards.
Starring Sushmita Sen as Aarya Sareen, the web series features a talented ensemble cast which includes Ila Arun, Sikandar Kher, Indraneil Sengupta, Vikas Kumar, Maya Sarao, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Shweta Pasricha, Viren Vazirani, Pratyaksh Panwar, Aarushi Bajaj, Bhupendra Jadawat and Vishwajeet Pradhan amongst others. The raging sherni of the game has sharpened her claws and is all set to attack!
