Aamir Khan's daughter Ira has launched Agatsu Foundation to provide "mental health support, mind and body awareness programmes and training to promote self-actualisation." The star kid, who had opened up about her mental health struggles last year, aims to "find balance and attain equilibrium" to make life better for herself and others.
On Wednesday, Ira Khan announced on social media about her foundation. Ira uploaded a video, of hers saying, "I have registered a Section 8 company, called Agatsu Foundation, which launches today. Agatsu is my attempt of trying to find a balance, of trying to attain equilibrium, to make my life better for me and facilitate you making your life better in whichever way. Come check us out!" In the caption, she wrote, "I proudly present... Agatsu Foundation. "
Family members, including mother Reena Datta, brother Junaid, cousin Zayn Marie, beau Nupur Shikhare besides Kiran Rao, standup comedian Rahul Subramanian and Fatima Sana Shaikh gave a shout-out to her new venture. Ira has a tattoo on her arm, which reads âIf we won't, who will?' "It's my first step towards embarking on it," she says.

In February, Ira Khan had opened up on her tryst with clinical depression. She even shared a video on Instagram where she talked about how she has been suffering from depression for the last four years, visiting a doctor, and doing much better now. In another video, she talked about her depression days. In the video, she was seen talking about how she was forced to suppress her feelings at her cousin Zayn Marie Khan's wedding. Ira revealed that although she was happy for her cousin, she had to put in a lot of effort to smile for pictures. "Hello again FT. Wiza TRIGGER WARNING: It's not a happy, positive video. It's not an unhappy, negative video either. But I'm.. blah and if you're low, it may or may not be the best thing to watch. You be the judge. And clearly I mumble. A lot. Will be more conscious next time (sic)", she wrote.
