From being a former partner of the IPL team Rajasthan Royals to co-owning a restaurant chain, the actress has time and again made smart business decisions.
Co-owner of restaurant chain, Bastian:
Shilpa Shetty's popular high-end restaurant chain, Bastian is a well-known spot in Mumbai. In 2019, the actress acquired a 50% stake in the fine-dining restaurant. The restaurant, part of Bastian Hospitality owned by hotelier Ranjeet Bindra, expanded its reach with a new outlet on the top floor of Kohinoor Tower in Mumbai in 2023.

In 2022, Shilpa Shetty co-founded SVS Studio with Sandeep Mane. She invested Rs 10 crore in the VFX studio that caters to the needs of several films in the industry as more and more outsource VFX to enhance the quality and make-believe value of their films.
DreamSS (Apparel Brand):
Shilpa Shetty stepped into the fashion industry in 2020 with the launch of her clothing line, DreamSS. The brand offers leisure wear for women. She collaborated with Indian designers Charu and Sandeep Arora for the same.
Simple Soulful: Shilpa Shetty (Fitness app):
Shilpa Shetty has been a strong advocate of a healthy and fit lifestyle. The actress keeps herself fit with different forms of exercise like yoga, strength training, and aerobics. In 2019, Shetty launched the fitness app Simple Soulful: Shilpa Shetty". The app helps users to follow a healthy lifestyle with personalised diet plans, workout plans, and yoga routines.
Investment in multiple business:
Shilpa Shetty is an early investor in the wellness and skincare brand, Mamaearth. She has also invested Rs 2.25 crore in 100Percent Nourishment Pvt Ltd, a Mumbai-based company selling healthy food products under the brand WickedGud.
Brand endorsements:
Shilpa Shetty Kundra is the face of several brands, especially ones that endorse healthy living. She is associated with brands like Yakult Danone, Chicnutrix, ZOFF, Fast&Up, B Natural, and SRL Diagnostics. Her brand endorsements reportedly command a fee of around Rs 1 crore, as per Zee News.
IPL:
During the first edition of the Indian Premiere League (IPL), Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra became co-owners of the team, Rajasthan Royals. They had a 11.7 percent stake. However, they gave up their ownership after the betting scandal in 2015 which resulted in a 2-year ban of the team.
