Yami Gautam's new movie, 'Article 370', is doing really well at the box office! The political drama had a significant increase in earnings on its third day, making its first weekend collection surpass Rs 20 crore. Early estimates indicate that the film earned around Rs 9.50 - 10 crore on Sunday in India.

According to reports from sacnilk.com, the movie had a promising start, making Rs 5.9 crore on the first day and then increasing to Rs 7.4 crore on Saturday. With positive reviews and good buzz on social media, the film experienced a 25% growth in ticket sales on Sunday, marking its highest collection since its release. 'Article 370' has now accumulated an estimated total of Rs 23 crore at the Indian box office. The industry is now eager to see how the film performs on Monday.

The movie 'Article 370,' featuring Yami Gautam and Priyamani, is doing well at the box office. Despite being seen as a divisive political film, it earned Rs 7.5 crore on Saturday, bringing its total domestic earnings to Rs 13.4 crore. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film had an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 26.58 per cent on Saturday, with the highest attendance during evening screenings reaching 44.39 per cent.
The movie started strong on its opening day with Rs 6 crores, and it is performing better than the film 'The Kashmir Files' in its first two days in theatres. 'The Kashmir Files' earned Rs 12.05 crore in the same time frame during its theatrical run in 2022.
About Article 370
Director Aditya Suhas Jambhale's political thriller looks at the events around the 2019 abrogation of Article 370, which granted special status to Jammu & Kashmir in terms of autonomy. Gautam portrays a National Investigation Agency intel officer, who played a role in maintaining peace in the Valley. Aware that retelling a real-life story on celluloid is a big responsibility, she walked into the Jio Studios and B62 Studios' venture armed with prep.
